2.     Lord the heathen may rage
And the people may hate

They may take their counsel
Against me and my God
But I know I will never be afraid
3.     All the powers of hell
May arise against me
But I know I will never be ashamed
They may come like a flood
And go back in failure

But I know I will never be afraid
